Intern Diary: Clara

As I wrap up my internship at JMG PR, I’m incredibly grateful for an experience that challenged, inspired, and shaped me — professionally and personally. This internship came during a meaningful chapter of my life: my final semester of college. Balancing coursework, job applications, and the emotions of senior year could’ve been overwhelming, but having JMG as part of my routine gave me a creative outlet and a place where I truly felt like I belonged.

From day one, I was trusted with real responsibility. Whether it was crafting social media content, researching trends, or analyzing analytics, I got to sharpen my skills in an environment that encouraged curiosity, collaboration, and initiative. I wasn’t just an intern — I was treated like a valuable member of the team. That trust meant everything to me. Beyond the professional experience, the relationships I formed during my time at JMG were just as impactful.

I am honored to work alongside Jenna Guarneri and her team. They have guided me in great directions and have been wonderful resources these past few months. They have been kind, encouraging, willing and friendly to me since the beginning. I met some of the most supportive, talented, and down-to-earth women — people who became not just interns like me, but true friends. We laughed through content brainstorms, leaned on each other during busy weeks, and celebrated every win, big or small. It made showing up feel easy.

Interning at JMG reminded me of why I love this field — because at its core, it’s about people, storytelling, and making things that matter. Now that I have graduated and am stepping into what’s next, I’ll carry the lessons, confidence and friendships from this internship with me. Thank you to the JMG team for believing in me and helping me grow into the communicator I’ve always hoped to become!
